چکیده

Metal contamination in groundwater often occurs various industrial processes. Studies have confirmed that polysulfide could reduce hexavalent chromium to trivalent chromium, achieving the effect of situ stabilization. For other metal groundwater, whether also had a stabilizing ability achieve remediation. This research focused on metals addition contaminated including lead, nickel, zinc, copper, and cadmium, explore feasibility using calcium (CaSx) as an stabilization technology for these metals’ groundwater. Results showed CaSx great removal efficiency cadmium. However, when was added excessively, complexes would be formed, causing result re-dissolution, turn reducing efficiency. As it is difficult accurately control dosage agents remediation, concentration re-dissolved cadmium may not able meet standards. high lead 100 mg/L, dose more than amount 1/1200 (volume ratio groundwater). In addition, rate almost 100% cause re-dissolution due excessive dosing. can used technique lead-contaminated

Removal of Cadmium, Zinc, Lead and Copper by Sorption on Leaching Residue from Nickel Production

Odstránenie Cd, Zn, Pb a Cu sorpciou na vylúhovanom zvyšku z produkcie Ni A leaching resudue from the nickel production (LRNi), was used to study the removal of selected bivalent cations (Cd, Pb, Cu and Zn) from model aqueous solutions. Batch-type experiments have been performed in solutions with initial concentrations of heavy metals in the range of 20-400 mg.L and the adsorbent dosage 2 g.L. ...

Study Concentrations Changes of Lead, Chromium, Nickel, Cadmium, Zinc and Copper in Beshar River of Kohgiluyeh and Boyerahmad Province, Iran

Due to the lack of water quality of resourses in country, exact review of available water resources quality, especially in terms of heavy elements (heavy metals) has a particular importance. Due to industrial towns 1 and 2 of Yasuj city and also Yasuj wastewater treatment, surveying environmental harmful effects of heavy metals on this river is very important. To investigate the changes of heav...

Chemical Fractionation of Cadmium, Copper, Nickel, and Zinc in Contaminated Soils

Heavy metals are potentially toxic to human life and the environment. Metal toxicity depends on chemical associations in soils. For this reason, determining the chemical form of a metal in soils is important to evaluate its mobility and hioavailability . Sequential extraction was used to fractionate four heavy metals (Cd, Cu, Ni, and Zn) from nine contaminated soils into six operationally defin...

Simultaneous determination of lead, cadmium, copper and zinc in Infant formula by anodic stripping voltammetry

Determination of trace elements in food is of great importance, as some of them have nutritional significance, whilst others are toxic. Long-term exposure to low levels of toxic metals could be important, especially in relation to children. Differential Pulse Anodic Stripping Voltammetry (DPASV) is applied to simultaneous determination of lead, cadmium, copper and zinc in dry ash infant formula...
